What is Tiny Transitions?

Tiny Transitions is a consulting service is designed for anyone thinking about, in the process of, or already living in a tiny house and/or anyone going through a downsizing centric transition such as empty nester moves or moves into assisted living or long term care facilities. What is Tiny House Interior Design?

Tiny house interior design services (for properties less than 500 sq ft) including tiny houses, ADUs, small houses/apartments, studios, RV’s, travel trailer updates, bus and van conversions.

Tiny House Interior Design services may include tiny house floor plans, product sourcing, color palettes, mood boards, floor plan critiques, 3D models, project management, and turnkey interior design services. Learn more here!

What is the difference between “E-Design” and Virtual Interior Design?

E-Design is typically more centered around interior decoration than interior design and usually E-Designers offer a more transactional business model where the process is automated similar to the services offered by companies like Modsy and Heavenly.
Virtual Interior Design is interior design done virtually. We feel understanding our clients as people and how they live in their space is crucial in creating a design they will love so we offer the same high touch service and exclusive design process when we work with virtual design clients as we do working with our full service design clients.

What if I am working on a small space like a closet or entryway?

Do you offer discounts?

We do occasionally run promotions so be sure to sign up for our mailing list at the bottom of the page to stay informed!

Do you markup products?

Transparency is one of our founding principles so we want to make sure you know where every penny goes. Markups are an important part of the Interior Design industry, as they provide designers an additional revenue stream which allows them to offer lower design fees/hourly rates. We source from a mix of direct and trade vendors so not all product is eligible for discounts. Trade discounts vary from vendor to vendor but is typically between 5-15%.

Many designers keep the trade discount as revenue however our current trade policy is that if we receive a trade discount, 50% of that will be passed on to our clients so everyone wins!

Will you work with my tiny house builder, contractor, or tradesperson if I already have one?

Absolutely! Just be sure to note this on our intro call.

Can you provide references?

YES! Just let us know you’re interested in references on our Intro Call and we will connect you. In the meantime, you can find our public service reviews on Google and Houzz.
